    Napalm Death's Scum and From Enslavement to Obliteration were the beginnings of grindcore as well as the end. Grindcore didn't really change or evolve that much since then. Whereas the death metal genre evolved heavily over time. I guess it's because the limitations of the genre itself that doesn't allow a band to change or evolve/5(81).

    This was first released by Napalm Death independently, but later Earache Records came across Napalm Death and made an official release of the full-length. The first half was also intended to be apart of a split with British hardcore act Avistic. Considered by many to be the first grindcore album.
